Job summary

mtc consulting pte. ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to assist in designing and coordinating mechanical building services for major construction projects in Singapore.

You will prepare designs, calculations, drawings and technical documentation, and ensure coordination with architectural, electrical, and other disciplines. Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in building construction projects, preferably life sciences or data centers.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and coordination of mechanical building services systems for major construction projects.
• Prepare and review mechanical engineering designs, specifications, calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Coordinate mechanical works with architectural, structural, electrical and other building services disciplines.
• Support project planning, site coordination, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Prior experience in building construction projects, preferably within life sciences, semiconductor/wafer fabrication, data centres, commercial or mixed development buildings.
• Experience in building services, M&E or mechanical engineering works within a construction environment.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, relevant engineering standards, codes and construction practices.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
• Proficient in relevant engineering and design software would be advantageous.
