Job summary

SEMICONDUCTOR TECHNOLOGIES & INSTRUMENTS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced mechanical/mechatronics engineer to develop and optimize new process modules, run DOE experiments to improve device performance, yield and manufacturability.

You will oversee end-to-end product development from concept to high-volume manufacturing, collaborate across engineering, integration and modules teams, and ensure seamless integration of new processes with focus on scalability, yield and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automation design experience.
• Experience in designing automation or semiconductor equipment.
• Strong background in high-precision machine design.
• Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to work independently and communicate with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize new Process Modules, perform experiments (DOE) to improve device performance, yield and manufacturability.
• Product Development Lifecycle: Oversee end-to-end development from concept to commercialization and high-volume manufacturing.
• Cross-functional Collaboration with Engineering, Integration, Modules, and other departments to resolve technical challenges.
• Manufacturing Integration: ensure seamless integration of new processes into high-volume manufacturing with scalability and cost focus.
• Performance and Reporting: establish metrics, monitor progress, and provide reports on outcomes.
