We seek an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support product lifecycle management, NPI, transfer, and sustaining engineering with emphasis on quality and cost reduction. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product engineering, mechanical design, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with product transfer, sustaining engineering, and manufacturing processes.
• FMEA, DOE, root cause analysis and engineering change management knowledge.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in life sciences, medical devices, or regulated industries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support NPI, product transfer and sustaining engineering activities.
• Drive mechanical design improvements for enclosures, chassis, mechanisms, and interfaces (thermal, fluidic, optical).
• Troubleshoot engineering and manufacturing issues to improve quality, reliability and yield.
• Apply FMEA, DOE and statistical methods to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Manage ECRs/ECNs and maintain drawings, BOMs, work instructions and validation plans.
• Drive continuous improvement and collaborate across functions for smooth transitions into manufacturing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

This role focuses on new product introduction (NPI), product transfer, and sustaining engineering, with an emphasis on product quality, manufacturing yield, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive engineering solutions, optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and ensure product quality and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Support new product introduction (NPI), product transfer, and sustaining engineering activities.
• Drive mechanical design improvements involving enclosures, chassis, mechanisms, and thermal, fluidic, and optical interfaces.
• Troubleshoot engineering and manufacturing issues to improve product quality, reliability, and yield.
• Apply FMEA, DOE, and statistical analysis to optimize processes and reduce costs.
• Manage engineering changes (ECRs/ECNs) and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and validation plans.
• Drive continuous improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product transitions into manufacturing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
