Job summary

ResMed Singapore seeks a Mechanical/Biomedical Engineer to drive product development for connected medical devices. You will lead design activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and translate requirements into robust solutions.

You will collaborate across disciplines, mentor teammates, and advocate for quality and patient outcomes while delivering value to stakeholders in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent with significant product development experience.
• Experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems in a regulated medical device environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across the project team to define solutions and processes delivering value and meeting user needs.
• Be aware of interactions between systems when solving engineering problems in connected product solutions.
• Work with external suppliers and across teams to achieve project objectives.
• Provide guidance to the mechanical team to solve technical issues.
• Mentor the engineering team to build capability, leadership, ownership and accountability.
• Research and develop new technologies in the team’s area of expertise.
• Communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders to report progress and remove roadblocks.
• Own your technical growth and actively build skills and competency.
• Work within the regulated medical device environment and advocate for best engineering and quality practice.
• Ensure engineering best practices and processes are adhered to in delivery of your work.
