Job summary

ResMed in Tuas, Singapore, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead process improvement initiatives across our Singapore and Malaysia transformation programs. Based in Tuas, you will drive scalable manufacturing solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support validations, process transfers, and scale-up efforts.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 5 years in regulated manufacturing environments, with a proven track record in process

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/process engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of process improvement and manufacturing optimization.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement data-driven solutions.
• Strong stakeholder influence and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Support development, optimization, and standardization of manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies.
• Partner with value streams, production teams, quality, supply chain, and engineering functions to identify and resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Support deployment of manufacturing excellence programs across multiple sites, aligning with business objectives and engineering standards.
• Analyze manufacturing data and process performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Evaluate, develop, and implement new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and process capabilities.
• Support new product introductions, process transfers, validation activities, and production scale-up initiatives.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, process flows, and engineering standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and cross-functional project teams.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated success in process improvement, operational excellence, and manufacturing optimization initiatives.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process development, validation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement practical, data-driven solutions.
• Proven capability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing transformation or operational improvement programs.

• Background in the Medical Device, Healthcare Technology, or high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement credentials.
