Job summary

Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer, Product Design to lead and advance mechanical subsystems for a high-performance semiconductor assembly machine in Singapore. You will direct design, documentation, validation and testing, while coordinating with our development partner in mechatronics.

The role requires a strong background in precision mechanical design, FEA, NX or Pro/ENGINEER, and cross-functional leadership across engineering teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of precision mechanical engineering design experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior position within a design team.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (NX or Pro/ENGINEER).
• Experience with Finite Element Modeling (Nastran or equivalent).
• Strong analytical skills in thermal, fluid, motion, vibration and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team to perform root cause analysis and provide solutions.
• Serve as technical expert across multiple subsystems or machine performance.
• Coordinate designs and documentation from concept to production.
• Plan budgets related to projects.
• Design and test electro-mechanical systems for high-performance robotics equipment.
