Job summary

Stellar Shipmanagement Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Marine Superintendent to oversee vetting inspections, ensure vessels meet regulatory standards, and provide nautical guidance to Masters and Navigational Officers in Singapore. The role includes leading safety initiatives, incident investigations, and audits within the Stellar framework.

You will coordinate with oil majors and act as a key liaison for policy implementation.

Qualifications

Must hold COC Class 1 with tanker sailing experience.
Minimum 2 years onboard tanker experience including at least 12 months in a management level.
At least 1 year shore-based experience in a ship management company.
Supervisory experience ashore in tanker companies is advantageous.
Good oral and written communication skills; analytical and independent work style.

Responsibilities

Oversee vetting inspections by Oil Majors to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
Communicate with oil majors to secure vessel acceptance.
Lead safety initiatives, incidents investigations, and audits.
Provide guidance to Masters and Navigational Officers on nautical matters.
Coordinate internal audits and ISPS/Marine Ship Inspections.
Support fleet operations and logistics for provisions and UKC issues.
Liaise with DPA for policy implementation and training initiatives.
