Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd is seeking a Marine & HSE Manager based in Penjuru, Singapore. You will lead the HSE section, conduct marine safety investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance across vessels.

The role includes planning vessel visits, training crew, and overseeing procurement and docking activities. Requires a CO C Class 1/2 and proven managerial experience in marine operations, HSE, and fleet management.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Competency (COC) Class 1 or 2 required.
• Managerial experience in marine operations, HSE and fleet management.
• Experience with DPA duties, SIRE inspections, and Class/Flag State surveys.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE section and investigate marine-related incidents.
• Gather and analyse information, prepare detailed investigation reports and corrective actions.
• Follow up on corrective actions within required timeframes.
• Plan weekly visits to company vessels and participate in shipboard meetings and drills.
• Advise Masters on marine HSE and navigational matters; act as Designated Person Ashore (DPA).
• Ensure vessel compliance with Classification Society and Flag State requirements.
• Assist in procurement and handling of vessel deck consumables; coordinate deliveries.
• Attend vessel dry-dockings and repairs; monitor maintenance and inspections.
• Identify training needs and conduct induction and training programmes for crew.
