Job summary

Leica Microsystems, part of Danaher, is seeking a Principal/Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead optimization of medical device assembly in Singapore. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline related to manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in lean manufacturing or production, 3+ years in medical devices.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with process validation, FMEA, DOE, and root-cause methods.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing performance by monitoring yield, process capability, productivity, and CAPA.
• Provide day‑to‑day process and product engineering support including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Plan, execute, document, and maintain qualification and validation of processes, tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• Coordinate engineering changes and maintain production readiness across controlled documents and routings.
• Develop standard work and Lean playbooks, supporting supplier qualification and audits.
