Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead new production introductions, resolve manufacturing issues, and drive yield and cost-reduction projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and process documentation, participating in design and optimization for mass production.

You will develop procedures, perform risk assessments, and manage equipment setups while pursuing continuous improvement across the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or production environments.
• Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or other relevant certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Leads and/or participates in process development, optimization, training, qualification, and validation activities for New Product or technology transfers.
• Leads in yield improvement, root cause analysis to resolve product manufacturing failures & determine root cause, reduce scrap and improve quality
• Improves manufacturing efficiency through workflow, space, equipment layout optimization, cost reduction, process automation and digital transformation
• Manages new equipment set-up and equipment improvements
• Generate process equipment specifications and ensures all equipment are robustly designed for mass production particularly on safety
• Develop, maintain, and update manufacturing procedures and related documentation including Risk Assessments (RA), Lockout/Tagout procedures (LOTO), Safe Work Procedures (SWP),and Equipment Safety Requirements (ESR) for assembly & equipment processes.
• Creates and maintains Bill of Material (BOM) structure, product attributes, categories configuration, routing and any engineering related support.
