lorna whiston pre-school education pte ltd is seeking an experienced preschool teacher to plan and deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons for young children. You will develop listening, speaking, reading and early writing skills through interactive activities and stories, while fostering curiosity about Chinese language and culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid L2 certification recognised by ECDA.
• Strong command of spoken and written Mandarin.
• Able to communicate effectively in English with colleagues, parents, and management.
• Preschool teaching experience, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
• Good classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about early childhood education and holistic development of children.
• Able to collaborate with colleagues, parents and management.
• Responsible, organised, proactive and willing to take initiative.

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate Chinese language lessons for preschool children.
• Develop children's Chinese language skills in listening, speaking, reading and early writing through interactive activities, storytelling, songs, games and hands-on learning.
• Create a positive, stimulating and language-rich learning environment that encourages interest in Chinese language and culture.
• Observe, assess and document children's learning progress and provide support according to individual needs.
• Work closely with fellow teachers and management to plan curriculum activities and school events.
• Build positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about children's learning and development.
• Support and mentor fellow teachers, share teaching strategies and contribute to curriculum planning and improvement.
• Uphold the centre's policies, teaching standards and health and safety requirements.
