Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Senior Manager, Transaction Operations in Singapore for a six-month contract within the Transaction Operations team.

The role entails leading trade operations, regulatory reporting, and end-to-end trade lifecycle oversight across multiple asset classes. It requires a minimum of 10 years in middle-office/ops, with at least 3 years in leadership, and experience with outsourced providers. A degree in Business or Finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in middle-office/operations in asset management.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
• Strong knowledge of asset management ops and end-to-end trade lifecycle.
• Experience overseeing outsourced service providers in transaction ops.
• Exposure to trade or regulatory reporting oversight is a plus.
• Aladdin experience is preferred but not required.
• Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear written communication.
• Proven ability to manage operational risks, controls, incidents and deadlines.
• Methodical, improvement-focused and able to challenge processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversight of trade operations and regulatory reporting across asset classes.
• Be the first point of escalation for operational issues with internal and external partners.
• Oversee end-to-end trade lifecycle and post-trade requirements.
• Manage incidents, exceptions and stakeholder escalations.
• Support transitions, new instruments, markets and product development.
• Serve as SME for projects and process changes in transaction ops.
• Maintain robust risk and control environment and remediation.
• Monitor market developments and implement process changes.
• Review and improve workflows and controls through automation and tech.
• Lead and develop the transaction operations team with stakeholders.
