Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Singapore seeks an experienced Backend Test professional to own the qualification of test systems, hardware, and production readiness. You will drive ramp-ups for new products and equipment, and lead data-analysis initiatives to detect trends and drive corrective actions across engineering and production teams.

You will coordinate with Product Test Engineering, Test Development, and Planning to resolve production issues and implement robust control plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Semiconductor Technology / Microelectronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of Backend Test relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of final test processes and related equipment.
• Experience with data analysis to drive improvements.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for test system and product/test hardware qualification and production readiness.
• Drive and implement new product/equipment ramp up including enabling production capability.
• Promote and enable team to perform data analysis using statistical tools to understand trends and deviations and take corrective actions.
• Lead and interface with Product Test Engineering, Test Development, Test Technology & Innovation, Planning, Quality and Business units to resolve production issues.
• Implement control plans such as APC and Out of Control action plans to monitor deviations.
• Drive preventive maintenance to ensure safety, high availability and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to boost productivity and quality.
• Develop equipment specifications for next-generation or second-source tools.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Overallresponsibility for Test system & product/test hardware qualification & production readiness

• Drive continuous improvement projectsto contribute to the overall Segment performance in productivity (NLoP) and Quality (NLoZD)
• Management Contact to Vendorto drive improvement topics & issue resolutions
• Develop equipment specificationsto BM next generation or 2nd source equipment/tools
• Develop equipment and tools work instructionmanage trainingfor operators, technician and engineers as required.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Master’s / Bachelor’s Degreein Semiconductor Technology /Microelectronics / Mechanical/ Electrical / Electronic Engineering withminimum 5 years of Backend Test relevant working experience.
• Extensiveknowledge of final test processes; product engineering, semiconductor Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) & Test Handling Equipment .
• Expertise in Data Analysis will be crucial to drive improvement & monitor test cell performance
• Experience in AI will be an added advantage
• Successful project leaders with ability to motivate team members
• Strong presentation, communication and negotiating skills to manage global and multicultural management team and stakeholders successfully.
