Job summary

Rolls-Royce Solutions Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Project Delivery (internal title: Senior Manager, Project Systems Business (PSB) Execution, Asia Pacific) to lead and govern APAC PSB project execution.

You will ensure governance, staffing, and timely delivery across Power Systems projects. This role requires a proven track record in managing engineered solutions, PMP or equivalent certification, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project management for engineered solutions.
• Minimum 5 years in relevant sector with revenue responsibility and leadership.
• PMP or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance for project execution per RR guidelines.
• Staff and allocate project managers to PSB projects.
• Serve as escalation point for execution topics.
• Lead weekly execution progress meetings and provide direction.
• Collaborate with functional leads to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Manage nonconformance costs within thresholds.
• Lead change order opportunities to orders.
• Act as functional lead for country managers in regional SSC.
• Coordinate with APAC hub and regional SSC for PSB execution excellence.
• Share best practices with other hubs and monitor customer developments.
• Prepare monthly execution status reports for senior management.
• Work with APAC PMO on portfolio improvement initiatives.
• Organize lessons learned for APAC.

Position Summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Project Delivery (internal title: Senior Manager, Project Systems Business (PSB) Execution, Asia Pacific) to lead and govern the execution accountability for APAC Power Generation project system business.

What you will be doing:

• Ensuring execution governance in accordance with the company established guidelines, especially in project management and delivery.
• Ensure proper staffing of project managers to the respective PSB projects.
• Be the first escalation point on project execution topics.
• Conduct weekly team meetings with the execution team to keep abreast of the execution progress and provide direction and guidance to the team as needed.
• Collaborating with the functional leads to ensure smooth project execution. Work to resolve internal issues accordingly.
• Ensure nonconformance cost of the projects stays within the agreed threshold.
• Lead the team to realize change order opportunities into actual orders.
• Be the functional lead of the country managers in the regional execution SSC.
• Ensuring the APAC hub and the regional execution SSC collaborates for PSB execution excellence.
• Work with counterparts in the other hubs for best practices and staying abreast of the latest customer developments.
• Prepare the monthly execution status report for the senior management by working with the internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the APAC PMO team on overall project portfolio improvement initiatives.
• Organize lessons learnt for APAC.

Other Matters:

• Travel overseas on business, when required.
• Updates oneself with project management best practices
• Special assignment from time to time.

Position requirements:

• University studies in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering fields.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management and execution of engineered solution business, out of which a minimum of 5 years within the relevant sector, revenue responsibility and leadership experience.
• Experience in the diesel generator industry would be an added advantage.
• Proven track record to manage portfolio of projects and deliver within schedule, budget, and specifications.
• Attained project management certification (PMP) or similar.
• Strong skillsets in negotiation and communication skills are essential to the role, with proficiency in multiple Asian language skills a distinct advantage. Proficient in English language.
• Ability to inspire people to deliver extraordinary results.
• Able to manage high stress situations.
• Willingness to travel.
