Job summary

OKX Group is seeking a Senior Manager of PR and Communications for APAC. You will lead regional media relations, craft compelling narratives for major announcements, and work with regional leadership, marketing and product teams to drive high-impact campaigns.

The role requires a proven PR track record in fintech or tech, strong relationships across APAC media, and experience shaping product launches and executive communications. Hybrid/remote APAC arrangements are considered.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of PR and communications experience, preferably in financial services, fintech or tech.
• Strong, established media relationships across APAC valued, especially in Australia and Singapore.
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills with ability to translate complex topics.
• Experience supporting product launches, corporate announcements and thought leadership.
• Experience in cryptocurrency or digital assets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute OKX’s APAC communications strategy with impactful PR campaigns across regional markets.

Senior Manager PR and Communications APAC

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Senior Manager, Communications & PR, APAC to help drive OKX’s communications and media relations activities across the region.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong media relationships, excellent storytelling skills and a proven ability to deliver high-impact PR campaigns. You’ll work closely with regional business leaders, marketing and product teams, and the global communications function to support major announcements, strengthen OKX’s reputation and generate meaningful media coverage.

We’re looking for a proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-moving environments, can independently manage communications initiatives from planning through execution, and knows how to turn business developments into compelling stories. Experience in or a passion for cryptocurrency and digital assets is a strong advantage.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support the development and execution of OKX’s APAC communications strategy, delivering impactful PR campaigns and initiatives across key regional markets.

Work closely with regional business leaders, marketing, product, legal and compliance teams to identify and execute communications opportunities aligned with business priorities.

Leverage and expand relationships with journalists, editors and influential industry voices across APAC, particularly in Australia and Singapore, as well as global tier-one media covering the region.

Proactively identify, pitch and secure compelling stories in leading business, financial, broadcast, technology and crypto publications, driving consistent, high-quality media coverage.

Manage communications for regional product launches, business announcements, partnerships and executive thought leadership initiatives.

Collaborate with the global communications team to support international announcements and adapt global campaigns for APAC audiences.

Identify and activate PR opportunities through OKX’s global partnerships, including McLaren F1 Team and Manchester City Football Club.

Develop high-quality press releases, media pitches, executive briefing materials, talking points, messaging and other communications content.

Support regional executives with media interviews, speaking opportunities and thought leadership activities.

Manage PR agency relationships and coordinate external partners to deliver against agreed objectives.

Support issues management and crisis communications, working closely with regional stakeholders and the global communications team.

Monitor media coverage, track PR performance and report on results, with a focus on coverage quality, reputation and business impact.

What We Look For In You

8–12 years of experience in PR and communications, ideally within financial services, fintech or technology.

Strong, established media relationships across APAC are highly valued, particularly in Australia and Singapore, as well as connections with global tier-one business, financial and broadcast media covering the region.

Demonstrated success securing high-quality coverage in leading international and regional publications and delivering impactful PR campaigns.

Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex business and technical developments into clear, compelling narratives.

Experience supporting product launches, corporate announcements, executive communications and thought leadership initiatives.

Experience in financial and investment communications is an advantage.

Experience in cryptocurrency, digital assets or Web3, or a genuine passion for the industry, is a strong advantage.

Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.

A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently, identify opportunities and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.

Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across different markets.

Experience managing PR agencies and external communications partners.

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.

Fluent in English; proficiency in other regional languages is an advantage.
