About the Opportunity

The Strategic Markets and Global Marketing teams are responsible for accelerating sustainable growth across OKX’s priority markets. We work across regions and functions to identify opportunities, develop market strategies, strengthen execution, and build repeatable operating models that can scale globally.

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to serve as a trusted strategic and operational partner to the Executive Vice President of Global Markets and Marketing. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of strategy, market expansion, business performance, and organizational execution.

You will translate strategic priorities into clear operating plans, drive high-priority cross-functional initiatives, improve decision-making through rigorous analysis, and ensure alignment across regional and global teams. You will also act as a connective layer between the Strategic Markets and Global Marketing leadership teams and key partners across Product, Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other functions.

The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment, analytical rigor, executive presence, and hands-on execution. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, challenging assumptions, and taking ownership of complex initiatives from initial problem definition through to measurable results.

What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Planning and Execution

Partner directly with the Executive Vice President of Global Markets and Marketing to define priorities, develop strategic plans, and translate objectives into clear initiatives, milestones, and areas of accountability.

Drive the annual and quarterly planning processes for Strategic Markets and Global Marketing, ensuring alignment between regional priorities and broader company objectives.

Lead complex, high-priority initiatives spanning multiple markets, business units, and functional teams.

Identify execution risks, dependencies, and organizational gaps early, and work with stakeholders to resolve them.

Ensure key decisions are translated into action, with clear ownership, timelines, and measurable outcomes.

Market Growth and Business Performance

Develop data-driven analyses and recommendations regarding market expansion, investment allocation, customer growth, partnerships, and other strategic opportunities.

Monitor market performance, commercial trends, competitive developments, and emerging risks across priority markets.

Partner with regional leaders to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen local market strategies.

Build business cases and scenario analyses to support resource allocation and investment decisions.

Help develop repeatable market-entry and growth playbooks that can be applied across regions while accounting for local market conditions.

Operating Cadence and Governance

Establish and continuously improve the operating cadence for Strategic Markets and Global Marketing, including leadership meetings, business reviews, planning sessions, and regional performance reviews.

Develop dashboards and management reports that provide leadership with a clear view of performance, priorities, risks, and required decisions.

Create effective governance mechanisms for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring appropriate escalation and timely decision-making.

Maintain disciplined follow-through on leadership decisions, commitments, and strategic initiatives.

Improve the quality and flow of information among regional teams, functional partners, and senior leadership.

Executive Advisory and Decision Support

Serve as a trusted thought partner to the Executive Vice President of Global Markets and Marketing on strategic, commercial, operational, and organizational matters.

Synthesize complex information into clear insights, recommendations, executive briefings, and materials that support decision-making.

Prepare presentations, business reviews, strategic updates, and other materials for senior leadership.

Represent the Strategic Markets and Global Marketing leadership teams in selected meetings and initiatives, ensuring continuity, alignment, and follow-through.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Build strong relationships with regional leaders and global stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, HR, and Communications.

Act as a connector across teams, clarifying objectives, resolving competing priorities, and removing barriers to execution.

Lead special projects and time-sensitive initiatives that do not have a natural owner elsewhere in the organization.

Support organizational planning, resource prioritization, and ways of working as the Strategic Markets and Global Marketing function evolves.

Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and high performance.
