MINDS is seeking a Senior/Manager, Plans & Development to steer strategic planning and long-term initiatives. You will conduct horizon scanning, analysis, and think tank pieces to transform the organisation for the future, engaging with multiple senior stakeholders and cross‑departmental teams.
The role focuses on strategy formulation, change management, and performance monitoring to enhance MINDS' mission and services for PWIDs and their families in Singapore.
MINDS has been caring for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs) and their families since 1962.
Grounded in the belief that all PWIDs have innate abilities and talents, MINDS is committed to empowering them and enhancing their quality of life, while advocating for greater inclusivity for PWIDs as a nation.
MINDS is today one of the largest charities in Singapore employing more than 1200 staff. With the key focus to expand community-based services, improving the employability of PWIDS, strengthening education, and engendering inclusive community living, MINDS offers a holistic range of services and programmes across the PWIDs' lifespan.

Senior/ Manager, Plans & Development is responsible for the sense making of MINDS' strategic and operational environment. S/He plans, implements and reviews MINDS' medium to long term plans & initiatives. S/He is also conscientious in ascertaining and assessing relevant strategic and operational matters that might impact MINDS' business model, modus operandi and strategies, Mission and Vision.
S/He is required to conduct strategic reviews/analysis, study into areas of organisation development, and think tank pieces that will help to reframe and transform the organisation for the future.
S/He may work in various settings within MINDS that pertain directly or indirectly to the organisation's strategic and management planning processes. These could range from Workplan Seminars, Board Management Retreats, Annual Planning Forums, Board Meetings, Partnership Engagements, and Senior Management Meetings.
S/He should be proactive, forward looking, conversant in systems thinking and sensitive to the strategic needs of the organisation. S/He should possess strong inter-personal communication and problem-solving skills.
