Eastspring Investments in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Deputy to the Head of Middle Office Oversight to lead governance, issue management, and continuous improvement across middle office operations.

You will oversee service providers, monitor KPIs/SLAs, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and guide junior team members while driving risk controls and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, multi-asset environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 12 years of experience within the asset management industry, preferably in a middle office, operations, or oversight role.
• Strong operational expertise across asset management activities.
• Good working knowledge of multiple asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Rates, FX Forwards, and Money Market instruments.
• Experience with Aladdin or similar front-to-back investment platforms is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Act as Deputy to the Head of Middle Office Oversight, providing oversight across all asset class for transaction management, derivative operations, corporate actions, reconciliations, client and trade regulatory reporting, and serving as a key escalation point for operational issues.
• Provide oversight of the middle office service provider, including monitoring KPIs, SLAs, and delivery commitments.
• Proactively challenge, upscale, and resolve issues impacting service quality, accuracy, or timeliness.
• Conduct regular service reviews and prepare performance scorecards for senior management.
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, custodians, brokers, and outsourced service providers to ensure timely resolution of trade-related issues and queries.
• Stay abreast of market, regulatory, and industry developments and drive necessary process and control enhancements.
• Maintain, review, and update team processes, procedures, operating manuals, and checklists.
• Identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and control.
• Work with service providers on prompt incident reporting, investigation, and remediation.
• Track root causes of operational issues and ensure preventive measures are implemented.
• Escalate and communicate material issues to senior management and regulators where required.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and development support to junior team members, and actively contribute to talent management and succession planning.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• The Middle Office Oversight team is responsible for providing effective oversight of the end-to-end middle office activities across Eastspring Investments. The team works closely with outsourced service providers to ensure post-trade operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery across all supported asset classes.
