Job summary

Eastspring Investments (Singapore) Limited is seeking an Investment Risk Analyst to support oversight of equity, fixed income and multi-asset portfolios across Asia. The role combines portfolio risk analysis, analytics, risk governance, risk systems support and investment research.

A key component is supporting the team's use of Aladdin and other risk systems, ensuring portfolio analytics, benchmarks, exposures and risk data are accurate and fit for purpose.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in market risk or investment risk, quantitative analysis or a related field.
• Experience with risk systems including Aladdin, Axioma or FactSet is advantageous.
• CFA or FRM (or progress towards qualification) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse portfolio risk exposures across equity, fixed income and multi-asset portfolios.
• Support portfolio risk reviews and governance processes.
• Maintain and support Aladdin and other risk systems, updating parameters and troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate across functions on performance, data and operational processes to investigate portfolio and security level issues.
• Review and track internal risk review alerts and watchlists; escalate material risk concerns to senior team members.
• Prepare risk reports and analytical material for investment and governance forums.
• Support automation of risk reporting and control processes (Risk Radar) and dashboards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Eastspring's Investment Risk Management team is looking for an Investment Risk Analyst to support the oversight of equity, fixed income and multi-asset portfolios across Asia.

The role combines portfolio risk analysis, portfolio construction analytics, risk governance, risk systems support and investment research. The person will work closely with senior members of the IRM team as well as key stakeholders to identify key drivers of portfolio risk, support investment decision-making and maintain the integrity of Eastspring's risk management infrastructure.

A key component of the role is supporting the team's use of Aladdin and other risk systems, ensuring portfolio analytics, benchmarks, exposures and risk data are accurate and fit for purpose.

• Monitor and analyse portfolio risk exposures across equity, fixed income and multi-asset portfolios. Support portfolio risk reviews including changes in risk exposures, stress testing, performance drivers as well as liquidity risk analysis.
• Support senior members of the team in providing independent challenge to investment teams. Contribute to the Quarterly Risk Oversight reviews and other investment risk governance processes.

• Help maintain and support Aladdin, including risk analytics review, updating of internal risk review parameters as well as troubleshooting of risk system issues.

• Collaborate across functions on performance, data and operational processes to investigate portfolio and security level issues, including data flows, positions, transactions and performance analytics.

• Review and track internal risk review alerts, watchlists and emerging risk issues across portfolio. Investigate flagged portfolio, securities and if necessary, **escalate** material risk concerns to senior members of the team. Track outstanding risk issues to closure and ensure timely follow up.

• Prepare risk reports and analytical material for investment and governance forums including regular risk committee meetings.

• Support automation of risk reporting and control processes (Risk Radar), including development and maintenance ofdashboards and reporting templates.
