Job summary

HTX in Singapore seeks a senior communications and employer branding lead to shape and amplify the Home Team narrative. You will conceptualise campaigns, oversee storytelling across platforms, and partner with internal teams to strengthen engagement with employees, students, and the public.

You will drive stakeholder engagement, talent outreach, and project leadership in a fast-paced environment, under a two-year contract. HTX emphasizes transformation and readiness for homeland security.

Qualifications

• University graduate with 10+ years' experience in communications and employer branding.
• Proven track record leading multi-platform campaigns and talent outreach.

Responsibilities

What the role is:

HTX is Singapore's Science and Technology agency that brings together diverse scientific and engineering capabilities to develop transformative, operationally ready solutions for public safety. What you will be working on:

• Position HTX’s work in Science and Technology as critical in enhancing the Home Team’s efforts to “keep Singapore safe and secure” to the internal audience
• Conceptualise and execute original and effective communication campaigns and events to strengthen engagement of employees, potential hires, students as well as the public
• Develop creative storytelling initiatives to create a deeper connection and a sense of shared purpose among employees
• Work with multi‑functional teams to plan and execute the bi‑monthly HTX townhall and a variety of engagement and outreach events
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in employer branding, social media, mainstream media, digital and internal communications to align engagement efforts and deliver a unified narrative

What we are looking for:

• University graduate from a recognised tertiary education institution with more than 10 years’ proven track record in delivering outcomes in communications and employer branding (degree in journalism, communications and business will have an advantage)
• Demonstrated experience in leading multi‑platform communications campaigns and talent outreach initiatives
• Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills
• Creative with a keen eye for visual design
• Good grasp of a range of communication skills such as messaging, positioning and storytelling
• Good track record of developing content using an entire suite of communications tools
• Resourceful and self‑driven
• Team player who is also able to work across teams and lead through influencing
• Good ability in starting and managing projects
• Enjoys working in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment
• Fun-loving and has a positive learning attitude

All new hires are appointed on a two‑year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
