Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in a management position.
• Desired 5+ years of relevant experience in community programming, partnership management, events management, or grassroots work, with some supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated programming strategies for WGS to widen outreach and deepen community participation.
• Coordinate with PA bodies and partners to plan national-level heritage and cultural programmes at WGS.
• Collaborate with Geylang Serai Community Club and co-located partners to co-develop local programmes and maximize synergy.
• Plan and organise marquee Malay cultural events (Hari Raya Bazaar, Bulan Bahasa, arts events).
• Engage grassroots organisations and external stakeholders to co-create programmes leveraging WGS facilities.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of volunteers in partnership roles to boost minority-group participation.
• Supervise and guide the Manager (Integrated Programming) in day-to-day planning and execution.
• Monitor programme outcomes and prepare reports to support evidence-based planning and improvement.
