Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking a Senior Manager, GDC Portfolio Performance & Management to oversee stabilised data centre assets across APAC. The role collaborates with STT GDC management, Group Finance and internal stakeholders to deliver disciplined portfolio management and long-term value creation.

You will lead monitoring, build dashboards, evaluate investments and support capital allocation decisions, ensuring governance oversight and clear performance insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in portfolio management or related private equity/infrastructure investing.
• Experience monitoring multi-asset portfolios and assessing performance.
• Background in private equity, infra funds or investment holding companies preferred.
• Experience supporting investment committees and capital allocation decisions.
• Exposure to digital infrastructure, data centres or cap-intensive sectors is advantageous.
• Strong financial modelling and portfolio reporting capabilities.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Ability to interpret drivers of operating and financial performance.
• Understanding of governance and shareholder dynamics.
• Structured problem solving and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing monitoring of operational and financial performance across stabilised data centre assets in APAC markets.
• Develop and maintain portfolio performance dashboards covering operating, financial and investment KPIs.
• Monitor asset performance against investment cases and business plans, identifying emerging risks and opportunities.
• Produce regular portfolio reviews and performance insights for senior management and shareholders.
• Work with regional management teams to understand operational performance drivers and recommend improvement actions.
• Evaluate capital deployment opportunities across the existing portfolio, including expansion investments and optimisation initiatives.
• Assess portfolio returns, capital efficiency and funding implications to support investment decisions.
• Support portfolio planning and prioritisation across key APAC markets.
• Perform financial modelling, scenario analysis and sensitivity assessments for investment proposals.

The Senior Manager, GDC Portfolio Performance & Management supports Singtel’s active ownership of its digital infrastructure investments, with a focus on monitoring the performance of stabilised assets across key APAC markets.

Working closely with the Head of Portfolio Performance & Management, the role provides independent portfolio insights, monitors operational and financial performance, supports capital allocation decisions, and strengthens governance oversight across the portfolio.

The role sits at the intersection of portfolio management, investment oversight and corporate finance, partnering closely with STT GDC management, Group Finance and internal stakeholders to ensure disciplined portfolio management and long‑term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing monitoring of operational and financial performance across stabilised data centre assets in key APAC markets.
• Develop and maintain portfolio performance dashboards covering operating, financial and investment KPIs.
• Monitor asset performance against investment cases and business plans, identifying emerging risks and opportunities.

• Support Singtel's shareholder oversight across STT GDC entities and JVs.
• Prepare Board and Committee materials with clear performance insights.
• Track shareholder matters and governance actions.
• Partner Internal Audit and Finance on governance and control enhancements.

Portfolio Strategy & Market Insights

• Develop portfolio perspectives across key APAC markets, monitoring market dynamics, customer demand and competitive developments.
• Track macroeconomic, regulatory and industry trends affecting portfolio performance.
• Support strategic portfolio reviews and investment prioritisation across the region.

Skills for Success

• Approximately 8–10 years of relevant experience in portfolio management, private equity, infrastructure investing, corporate investments or principal investing.
• Experience monitoring investment portfolios and evaluating financial and operational performance across multiple assets.
• Background in Private Equity, infrastructure funds, sovereign wealth funds, corporate investment teams or investment holding companies preferred.
• Experience supporting investment committees, portfolio reviews or capital allocation decisions.
• Exposure to digital infrastructure, telecommunications, data centres or other capital‑intensive sectors is advantageous.
• Strong financial modelling, investment analysis and portfolio reporting capabilities.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
