Job summary

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the development of technical solutions for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. You will work with the sales team and partners to frame challenges and craft innovative proposals.

The role demands extensive data centre knowledge, experience with tenders, and the ability to mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of technical related experience.
• Good Knowledge of TIA 942, BCA-IMDA Green Mark for Data Centres, SS564 and related code.
• Data Centre professional certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of technical solutions for DC projects, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Develop project costing and provide accurate and timely input to Sales team to support successful project proposal and submission.
• Lead technical presentation and solution discussions with clients.
• Coach and mentor solution engineers in the design, engineering and implementation of DC solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and support project manager in resolving complex technical or site implementation challenges.
• Prepare and review technical proposal and costing sheets, technical compliance for proposal/tender submission for proposal/tender submission.
• Conduct site surveys and gather of site data (dimensions, site conditions, existing equipment, etc.).
• Manage and oversee the projects to ensure solutions are in order.
