Job summary

Dyson in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager and Team Leader for Cost Engineering to collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Finance to ensure cost competitiveness and drive Design-to-Cost initiatives.

You will lead teardowns, establish Cost & Value Engineering methods, plan resources, and guide negotiations to optimize Should Cost analyses and manufacturing processes across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Team leadership experience required.
• Proven cost engineering expertise required.
• Understanding cost structures of purchased and in-house parts desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable the Singapore team to drive teardowns and Design-to-Cost activities.
• Establish and govern Cost & Value Engineering methods and processes.
• Plan and allocate resources for teardowns/benchmarks.
• Plan, prepare, and lead Design-to-Cost workshops.
• Guide Should-Cost analyses and negotiations.
• Manage Cost Engineering processes and methods including digitalization.
• Support strategic and operative planning for Cost Management.
