Role Overview

We are seeking an analytical and commercially minded professional to support data-driven analysis across e-commerce, retail business performance. This role will leverage both - deep understanding of Korea, Taiwan and Japan's retail/e-commerce industry and Business Performance data to analyze data, provide insight and identify opportunities, improve processes, and deliver recommendations that drive business outcomes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead key initiatives, solve complex challenges, and translate data into clear actions that support strategic objectives across our key markets of Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain data analytic systems across Korea, Taiwan and Japan.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive business insights.
• Continuously improve business dashboards and reporting systems, staying updated on new technologies and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Contribute to strategic planning with data insights, helping to shape metrics, product features, and business strategies.
• Solve complex problems with urgency and minimal supervision, utilizing knolwedge of Korea, Taiwan and Japan's Retail/e-Commerce industry
• Use data insights to influence product development and business strategies.
• Lead end-to-end projects across overall e-commerce business domains, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Clarify requirements, align objectives, challenge assumptions, and ensure projects meet business goals and timelines.
• Contribute to a high-performing team culture by sharing knowledge and fostering ownership, excellence, and continuous learning.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 6-10 years of experience in business analytics, data analytics, commercial analytics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years experience in Korea, Taiwan and Japan's retail/e-commerce industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Experience working with large datasets and developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience supporting strategic initiatives through data-driven recommendations and performance analysis.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for leveraging data, technology, and analytics to drive business outcomes.
• Korean language skills is preferred but not mandatory.
