Job summary

Asia Cement (Singapore) Private Limited seeks a hands-on Senior Maintenance Lead - Electrical to keep electrical systems, equipment, and automated machinery running safely and efficiently at our Jurong Port facility. You will lead a small maintenance team, perform complex troubleshooting, implement preventive plans, and minimize unplanned downtime while ensuring safe operations.

This role requires 5+ years of electrical maintenance, a relevant degree or certification, and strong PLC/motor

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance in manufacturing, distribution, or similar.
• Valid trade certification or Electrical Engineering degree.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, control panels, and power distribution.
• Team player with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance: oversee inspections, preventive maintenance schedules, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, PLC/automation issues, and distribution systems.
• Guide the team: supervise junior technicians, assign tasks, and enforce safety standards.
• Identify root causes of failures and drive reliability improvements.
• Perform hands-on handling of cement and raw materials as needed.

We are an established cement distributor in Jurong Port looking for a hands-on Senior Maintenance Lead - Electrical to keep our electrical systems, equipment, and automated machinery running safely and efficiently. You will lead a small maintenance team, tackle complex troubleshooting, and ensure zero unplanned operational downtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead Day-to-Day Maintenance: Oversee electrical inspections, preventive maintenance schedules, and emergency repairs across the facility.
• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose complex electrical faults, PLC/automated control issues, and high/low voltage power distribution systems.
• Guide the Team: Supervise junior technicians, assign daily tasks, and promote strict workplace safety standards.
• Optimize Reliability: Identify root causes of equipment failures and suggest process improvements to boost machine uptime.
• Perform hands-on handling of cement and raw materials, including managing hardened or congested materials.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in industry, manufacturing, or distribution plants.
• Valid trade certification or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, control panels, and power distribution systems.
• Able to work as a team
• Preferable bilingual
