Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Maintenance Shift Lead (Mechanical and Electrical) based in Tuas to perform and lead preventative maintenance across plant facilities. You will operate in a safe, clean environment and manage a range of building and equipment tasks with guidance as needed.

The role requires 2 years in electrical work and at least 3 years in maintenance, with a 12-hour shift pattern (3/4 days per week). This is a hands-on position at a manufacturing site in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in electrical work.
• Min 3 years experience in maintenance work.
• Ability to work on shift work, 12 hours shift - rotation of 3/4 working days per week.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain clean and orderly conditions in areas around the plant, including workstations, social areas, equipment, and grounds.
• Perform general to complex groundskeeping and building maintenance, and repair general defects within the social and outside areas to ensure the ongoing operations of the facility with minimal guidance and oversight.
• Support general to complex repairs on systems under occasional supervision, such as carpentry and other routine building maintenance and repairs.
• Apply skills to complete general repairs on a variety of systems under occasional guidance, such as basic plumbing, electrical or HVAC.
• Assist with inspecting equipment and systems for preventive maintenance following plant protocol and move equipment and furniture for cleaning or renovation purposes.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance Shift Lead (Mechanical and Electrical - Tuas based) will apply in-depth understanding of policies and procedures to perform general to complex preventative building maintenance duties, maintaining a safe and clean work environment with occasional guidance. In this role, you will perform a wide range of building and equipment maintenance duties.
