Job summary

Copthorne King's King’s Hotel Singapore is seeking a Senior M&E Technician to support daily engineering operations, ensure safe and efficient maintenance of all equipment, and contribute to service excellence. You will respond to guest maintenance requests, oversee preventive maintenance, and assist the Engineering leadership team in safety and reliability initiatives.

The role involves staff training, inventory management, and participation in safety exercises while maintaining building systems

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining hotel machinery, facilities and systems.
• Ability to respond promptly to guest maintenance requests.
• Experience supervising a maintenance crew and coordinating tasks.

Responsibilities

Description

The Senior M&E Technician plays a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day engineering operations of the hotel by ensuring all machinery, equipment, and facilities are well maintained and operating safely and efficiently. This role involves responding promptly to guest maintenance requests, overseeing preventive maintenance schedules, supervising maintenance crew activities, and supporting the Engineering leadership team in delivering high standards of service, safety, and operational reliability. TheSenior M&E Technicianalso contributes to staff training, inventory management, safety exercises, and continuous improvement of engineering operations

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests




• To oversee the implementation of preventive management and repair schedules of all hotel machinery, equipment and facilities and update daily routine check list




• Assist supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the department




• Supervise and delegate work promptly to the Maintenance crew and ensure that work is properly done and updated on progress work




• Participate in fire-fighting and safety exercise




• Preventive maintenance scheduling




• Inventory of spare parts, tools and expendables




• Filling of building drawing and specification




• On the job training to new staff (air-con, chiller plant, electrical)




• Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues




• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures




• Report to superior end of the day of working all the follow up works
