Job summary

GREEN ECOTECH SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on machine assembler to contribute to production. You will actively assemble machines, read mechanical drawings, and perform precision lapping and polishing with suitable equipment before final packaging.

You will liaise with production, engineering, testing and QA teams to address issues, maintain 5S, and provide monthly improvement ideas while complying with safety and workshop procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly and hands-on fabrication.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret specifications.
• Familiarity with 5S, quality control, and safe workshop practices.

Responsibilities

• Actively assemble machines and perform hands-on assembly tasks.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings to guide assembly.
• Perform precision lapping and polishing on required components.
• Package machines securely for delivery and manage final inspection.
• Ensure compliance with workshop procedures and safety regulations.
• Liaise with engineering, material, testing and QA teams on status and issues.
• Conduct machine fitting, assembly and maintenance within tolerance limits.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and contribute monthly improvement ideas.
• Support ad-hoc duties including R&D projects as required.

Job description

Reporting to Manufacturing Manager and involve actively in hands-on assembly of machines.

Ensure that production targets are met in terms of production cost, delivery lead-time, quality and reliability of machines with proper packaging before delivery.

To read mechanical drawing.

Perform precision lapping and polishing process with machines.

Comply with all workshop procedures, safety regulations, directives and work instructions.

Liaison with other personnel on production status, engineering matters, material supply, testing and quality issues for machine rectification and improvement.

Perform mechanical fitting job, machine assembly and maintenance, which requires knowledge of machine fits and tolerances.

Final packaging and transportation of machines upon completion.

Quality Control Inspection.

Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S and to provide improvement suggestions monthly for continuous improvement.

Other ad-hoc duty asrequired, including R&D projects.
