Job summary

Senior / Vision Solution Engineer at PEOPLE PROFILERS PTE. LTD. develops and improves machine vision systems for inspection, measurement and defect detection. You will work on vision hardware and software, troubleshoot issues and introduce new vision technologies to projects.

Responsibilities include selecting cameras and lighting, configuring PCs and frame grabbers, and optimizing system performance to meet project needs. Travel to client sites for support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in machine vision applications.
• Hands-on experience with HIK, OpenCV, HALCON or Cognex VisionPro is preferred.
• Programming experience in C++, C#, or Python.
• Familiarity with optical inspection systems, TCP/IP, RS-232, and camera interfaces.
• Experience with deep learning-based vision solutions is a plus.
• Willing to travel for project and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain vision applications for inspection, measurement and defect detection.
• Select and configure cameras, lighting, PCs, frame grabbers and other vision components.
• Optimise vision system performance based on project requirements.
• Provide technical support to customers and field service teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and conduct system training when required.
• Explore and implement new vision technologies for projects.
