Job summary

MTC Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to provide technical guidance for ACMV and fire protection systems, review drawings and specifications, and support tenders with technical write-ups and value engineering.

You will lead project planning, budgeting, manpower forecasting, and progress tracking using MS Project, monitor cash flow and P&L, handle VO submissions, and drive site problem-solving with clients and subcontractors across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (recognized by PE Board / BCA / IES).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in M&E consultancy or related fields.
• Must have strong technical expertise in ACMV and fire protection systems.
• PE (Mechanical) certification is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and familiar with project and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and resolution for mechanical issues, including ACMV and fire protection systems.
• Review and interpret specifications, drawings, and compliance documents; ensure technical alignment with project needs.
• Support tenders with technical write-ups, value engineering, and presentation materials.
• Mentor junior engineers and engage with clients and consultants to explore new project opportunities.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, manpower forecasting, and progress tracking using MS Project.
• Monitor project cash flow and P&L; attend coordination meetings to address operational and site challenges.
• Handle VO submissions, subcontractor claims, and ensure adherence to contract terms and safety standards.
• Lead site problem-solving and foster strong team collaboration and motivation.
