Job summary

HOCK LIAN SENG INFRASTRUCTURE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior M&E Engineer to lead management, coordination and supervision of M&E construction works in Singapore.

You will ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, schedules, quality standards and safety regulations on live projects. You will review design and shop drawings, coordinate across trades, supervise site activities, manage subcontractors, monitor quality, safety and regulatory compliance, and support testing, commissioning and

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in M&E construction with a Main Contractor.
• Strong knowledge of building services installation and testing & commissioning.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and authority requirements.
• Strong coordination and leadership, with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and coordinate M&E installation works per construction programme.
• Coordinate M&E with C&S, Architectural, BIM and other trades.
• Supervise M&E works including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Coordinate M&E subcontractors, suppliers and specialists; monitor progress and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements and manufacturer requirements.
• Plan and coordinate M&E testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with WSH requirements and safety procedures.
• Assist with regulatory submissions and inspections when applicable.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain records for drawings, materials, inspections, testing and outstanding issues.
