Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a qualified engineer to assist in management, maintenance planning and rectification of M&E equipment in pedestrian underpasses, overpasses and vehicle underpasses in Singapore. You will also assist in preparation of tender specifications, managing and supervising M&E equipment, enforcing safety requirements on site, and carrying out quality audit checks on works.

Investigation of lifts and escalators incidents and handling feedback from the public and other government

Qualifications

Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
Experience with M&E equipment such as lifts, escalators, pumps, ACMV and fire protection systems.
Experience handling customer feedback is an advantage.
Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
As part of shortlisting, you may be asked to complete a medical declaration or undergo further assessment.

Responsibilities

Assist in management, maintenance planning and rectification of M&E equipment in pedestrian underpasses, pedestrian overhead bridges and vehicle underpasses.
Assist in preparation of tender specifications, manage and supervise commuter facilities M&E equipment, enforce safety requirements on site and carry out quality checks on works on site.
Investigate lifts and escalator accidents and manage feedback from the public and other government agencies and private developers.
