Job summary

CAREERNEXUS PTE. LTD. is looking for an experienced M&E Coordinator/Manager to oversee M&E coordinators and BIM modellers on design and coordination for M&E works on civil construction projects in Singapore.

The role requires 6–7 years of experience in M&E management, with a focus on substations, and strong leadership to guide M&E teams and subcontractors. Immediate availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or BCA M&E Coordination Certificate, or equivalent.
• 6–7 years of relevant experience managing M&E works in civil construction.
• Experience in substation projects.
• Strong leadership and people management skills to lead M&E teams and subcontractors.
• Immediate availability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage M&E coordinators and BIM modellers on design and coordination of M&E works.
• Study M&E drawings and resolve technical and site issues with consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor material submissions, drawing approvals and M&E documentation.
• Check that M&E installation on site follows the approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors and track site progress against the project schedule.
• Attend technical and site meetings, and report any issues to the Project Manager.
