Job summary

Singapore LNG Corporation Pte. Ltd. seeks a Lead/Senior Process Safety Engineer to develop, implement, and continuously improve process safety management for LNG facilities.

You will lead PHAs, risk studies, and MAH barrier programs while ensuring compliance with WSH, MHI, and industry standards. The role requires a PE license or Chartered Engineer status (CCPSC a plus) and 15+ years in process safety within high-hazard industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• At least 15 years of process safety experience in high-hazard industries.
• Experience leading HAZOP/PHA studies and LOPA/SIL assessments.
• Strong knowledge of PSM/RMP regulations and industry codes.
• PE license or Chartered Engineer status preferred; CCPSC a plus.
• Experience with LNG terminals or major hazard facilities is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate PHA studies including HAZID/HAZOP/What-If/LOPA analyses.
• Own and improve the site's PSM program aligning with OSHA/EPA requirements.
• Coordinate risk studies: QRA, FER A, Bow-Tie, ALARP, and siting analyses.
• Lead process safety incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Track KPIs and report process safety performance to leadership.
• Support MOC processes and MAH barrier management systems.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with WSH, MHI, ISO, API, NFPA & IEC standards.
