Job summary

SAGL Consulting is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer in Singapore to provide L2/L3 support and administration for Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, and enterprise infrastructure environments. You will manage production systems, troubleshoot complex issues, ensure platform availability, and drive automation initiatives.

The role requires hands-on RHEL and OpenShift expertise, plus experience with AWS, ELK, scripting, and ITIL-based processes.

Qualifications

Hands-on Linux system administration with RHEL.
Mandatory hands-on OpenShift administration including cluster management, deployment, monitoring, upgrades and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting Linux/OpenShift platforms in production managed-services environments.
Scripting and automation using Ansible, Bash, Python or PowerShell.
Knowledge of AWS, Nutanix, Apache web servers and ELK Stack.
Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, change and service requests management.
Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM ticketing platforms.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Administer and troubleshoot RHEL servers (installation, configuration, patching, security hardening).
Manage and support OpenShift Container Platform, including cluster operations, deployments, upgrades and monitoring.
Investigate and resolve L2/L3 infrastructure incidents within SLAs.
Perform system performance monitoring and root-cause analysis.
Support AWS, Nutanix environments and Apache web servers.
Coordinate infrastructure changes and patching per change management.
Monitor infrastructure with ELK Stack and other tools.
Develop automation scripts using Ansible, Bash, Python or PowerShell.
Support API integrations, JSON and CI/CD workflows.
Troubleshoot issues involving F5 load balancers, SNMP, and related tech.
Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.
Identify recurring incidents and opportunities for automation to improve reliability.
Support disaster recovery testing and exercises.
