Job summary

JPMorganChase in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Infrastructure Platforms and Electronic Trading Services. You will be part of an agile team designing and delivering secure, scalable technology to support trading workloads.

As a seasoned engineer, you will own Linux server management, automation, and incident response, with opportunities to optimize latency, throughput, and reliability across multiple business functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, data science, or related field.
3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
Professional Linux administration experience in production environments.
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with Bash, Python, and automation tasks.

Responsibilities

Maintain Linux server fleets, patching, hardening, and performance tuning.
Develop and automate OS deployment and configuration management.
Collaborate with network and data center teams to optimize latency and reliability.
Apply AI-assisted coding tools with peer review and secure coding standards.
Improve observability, runbooks, and incident response processes.
Produce operational documentation and runbooks for colo environments.
