Qualifications

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in life underwriting.
ACII, ANZIIF, ALU or LOMA.
Degree in Nursing or Biomedical Science/Engineering.

Responsibilities

Assess medical and financial risks of applicants for life and health insurance policies.
Make decisions, within the given authority, that are consistent with underwriting standards and market trends.
Review cases with complex medical conditions and multiple risk factors; involve face-to-face and phone/Zoom servicing with Financial Consultants/Agency Leaders; explain underwriting decisions to Business Development Managers/Directors.
Process a customer request end to end.
Provide support and services to Financial Consultants on underwriting matters.
Be involved in ad hoc projects.
