Job summary

AI Rudder, a Singapore-headquartered conversational AI unicorn, seeks a Legal Manager to lead a high-ownership role spanning commercial law, data privacy, AI governance, and cross-border disputes. This is a senior position with global reach.

You will draft SaaS and partner contracts, design a global compliance framework, manage disputes across SEA and beyond, and work directly with senior leadership to scale the legal function as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of legal experience managing active disputes end-to-end.
• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) required.
• Excellent knowledge of commercial, contract, and employment law in Asia.
• Familiarity with AI, SaaS, telecoms or tech regulatory landscapes.
• Experience with data privacy compliance (PDPA, GDPR, LGPD).
• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
• Experience managing a small legal team or external counsel.

Responsibilities

• Own active disputes and oversee end-to-end resolution across regions.
• Draft, negotiate and review enterprise SaaS and partner contracts.
• Lead regulatory filings and cross-border compliance initiatives.
• Design and implement a global privacy and AI governance framework.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align legal strategy with business goals.
