Job summary

Open Government Products (OGP) is seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer who can turn unclear problems into testable experiments. You’ll work in a small team of engineers, product managers and designers, taking ownership from the first user conversation through to launch and learning.

You’ll influence what we build and how we build it, balance trade-offs, and ensure reliable ships that inform policy and public services.

Qualifications

• Experience building end-to-end software with measurable results.
• Ability to own problems and drive initiatives without waiting for direction.
• Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Collaborative across PMs, designers and policy officers.
• Experience using AI to design, build, test or operate software.
