Job summary

TALENTS@WORK PTE. LTD. is opening a new education centre in Singapore and seeks a Senior Lead Teacher to guide students toward target examinations and school entry requirements. You will provide personalised English tutoring, assess learning needs, and coordinate with fellow educators to deliver comprehensive support.

The role features a Monday-Saturday schedule with a focus on 1-to-1 exam prep and progress-based feedback to parents, ensuring high-quality instruction in a CENTRE setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in English, Education or Early Childhood Education.
• 5+ years of teaching experience in Singapore, preferably in English or examination prep.
• Experience with CEQ preparation, AEIS-related English prep or international school entry prep is an advantage.
• Strong communication with the ability to monitor progress and give feedback to parents.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' English proficiency, identify learning gaps and develop customised prep plans.
• Plan and deliver targeted 1-to-1 lessons aligned to goals and exam or entry requirements.
• Teach writing, speaking, reading and comprehension with appropriate strategies.
• Prepare, mark and analyse mock assessments to identify weaknesses and adjust lessons.
• Monitor progress and clearly communicate outcomes and next steps to parents.
