Job summary

AMK Technology is hiring an L3 Network Engineer in Loyang, Singapore. You will own enterprise LAN/WAN architectures, configure BGP/OSPF, and manage Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls. The role involves incident RCA, multi-vendor environments, and mentoring L1/L2 teams.

Require 5–8+ years in enterprise networking, strong Cisco routing, and on-site availability. Attractive remuneration and immediate start for a permanent, full-time engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
• 5 to 8+ years of enterprise networking experience.
• Strong Cisco routing and switching experience.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, TCP/IP, VPN technologies.
• Experience with Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Multi-vendor network experience (Juniper, Meraki, UniFi).
• Analytical problem solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• On-site availability in Loyang, Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Layer 3 network troubleshooting and rapid incident resolution.
• Manage enterprise LAN/WAN topologies, VLANs, STP, and VPN tunnels.
• Administer Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewall infrastructure.
• Design, support, and execute network upgrades and migrations.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on outages and mentor L1/L2 teams.
• Ensure security baselines, compliance, and high-availability SLAs.
• Collaborate with systems admins, cybersecurity teams, and international clients.
• Maintain network diagrams, backups, and runbooks.
