Job summary

Firmus is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to own the Kubernetes estate across its production fleet. You will manage the platform controller layer, virtual clusters, and all baseline configurations to ensure reliability, security, and scalable deployment of products and tenants.

You will build and maintain automation, runbooks, and remediation tooling, perform upgrades with canary strategies, and lead major incident responses with a focus on permanent fixes and proactive prevention

Qualifications

• 8+ years in platform or infra engineering in 24/7 environments.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes control planes, etcd, and certificate rotation.
• Experience with multi-tenant or virtual cluster patterns.
• Proficiency in IaC and GitOps tooling for production systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a multi-tenant Kubernetes platform across a fleet.
• Develop operational tooling, runbooks, and remediation processes.
• Manage cluster lifecycle: provisioning, patching, upgrades, decommissioning.
• Maintain GPU integration and driver coordination within clusters.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
