Job summary

Tap Growth ai seeks an experienced Confluent Solution Architect to design scalable, real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and the Confluent ecosystem. The role collaborates with data engineers, architects, DevOps, and stakeholders to develop event-driven architectures and enterprise-grade streaming platforms.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years in IT with 4+ years in Kafka/event streaming, strong communication skills, and experience deploying Kafka on major cloud

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in IT with 4+ years in Kafka/event streaming/solution architecture.
• Strong customer-facing, analytical, and communication skills across tech and business teams.
• Hands-on experience deploying Kafka on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiarity with Confluent components (Kafka Connect, Streams, Schema Registry) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka and Confluent technologies.
• Translate requirements into scalable event-driven architectures and integration solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and DevOps to deliver reliable streaming platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to architectural standards and best practices.
• Engage with customers to communicate solutions, risks, and implementation approaches.
• Troubleshoot streaming issues and perform root-cause analysis to propose sustainable fixes.
