Job summary

Luxoft Singapore is seeking an experienced Java Developer with DevOps/Infrastructure knowledge to join our Data Centre Migration Project for a leading Banking customer. You will build and maintain Java-based applications and microservices, implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting, and ensure security practices across development and deployment.

You will collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions while staying current with Java and DevOps best

Qualifications

7+ years of overall experience.
Java Development - Strong backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
Infrastructure & DevOps.
Good Understanding of:
Deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers
Server connectivity and management
Basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation)
Pipeline creation and CI/CD processes
Experience in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
Nice-to-Have: Financial markets background and worked on trading systems

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Java development and DevOps.
