Job summary

Luxoft Information Technology (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Java developer to design, develop and maintain enterprise applications.

You will build scalable microservices and REST APIs, integrate frontend with backend services, and work with Docker/Kubernetes for deployment in AWS/Azure cloud environments. The role requires 3-5 years of hands-on Java experience, proficiency with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and CI/CD practices, plus familiarity with Kafka and databases like MySQL,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of working experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience in REST API development and integration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins/Git) and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Proficient with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
• Good experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• Create responsive frontend apps using Angular/React and basic HTML/CSS/JS.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git; participate in code reviews.
• Utilize Kafka for event-driven integration and asynchronous messaging.
• Work with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB; deploy apps on AWS/Azure.
• Engage in Agile development, discussions and continuous improvement.
