Job summary

Luxoft Singapore on behalf of a leading bank in Asia seeks a senior Java developer to design, develop, test and maintain large-scale enterprise web applications. You will build REST services and SPA front-ends, integrating with back-end systems.

You will collaborate with business analysts, architects and QA to ensure coding standards, security, and performance. Strong Java, Spring, and messaging experience are essential.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Finance Institution.
• Exposure to Global Markets and Back Office applications is a plus.
• Strong Core Java, design patterns, and modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and SPA technologies.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain REST-based services and web applications.
• Participate in application design, estimation, and technical reviews.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
• Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
• Contribute to performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required.
