Job summary

Societe Generale APAC is seeking an experienced Java engineer to design, develop, and operate microservices within a multi-cloud, API-driven architecture. You will build RESTful services, integrate via messaging queues, and contribute to scalable software design.

Your responsibilities include DevOps automation, container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, and production support with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Strong Java (Spring Boot) experience.
• Unix/Linux proficiency.
• Expert Git version control.
• Docker & Kubernetes experience.
• Messaging systems (ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop & maintain Java microservices (Spring Boot).
• Build REST APIs and integrate via messaging queues (ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• Contribute to architecture & integration design.
• DevOps automation with Python and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy/manage services with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Work with PostgreSQL and ensure data handling efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Production support incl. on-call rotation.
