Job summary

LUXOFT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Java developer to support enterprise applications for a financial services project. You will design, develop and maintain backend microservices with Spring Boot, and build REST APIs, while ensuring solid frontend integration with Angular/React.

The role emphasizes Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD with Jenkins, and cloud deployment on AWS or Azure, with a strong Agile team focusing on SDLC best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of working experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
• Strong experience in REST API development and integration
• Strong experience with React
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with Micro Frontends (MFE)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Jenkins and Git and CI/CD practices
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Good experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of enterprise application development and SDLC
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance scalable Microservices-based applications and REST APIs.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular and React.
• Work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development.
• Develop and support Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture where applicable.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend Microservices and REST APIs.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Work with Kafka for event-driven integration and asynchronous communication.
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS and Azure.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting and production support.
• Participate in Agile development, code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
