Job summary

Optimum Solutions (Singapore) Pte Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer with a backend emphasis to lead design and development of high-throughput, microservices-based platforms for a major telecom client in Singapore.

You will work on REST APIs with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud, while building responsive frontend dashboards with ReactJS. Strong telecom domain knowledge and cloudDevOps experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of professional software development experience with full-stack capabilities.
• Deep hands-on Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA; microservices patterns.
• Frontend expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JS tooling.
• Telecom domain experience or high-concurrency real-time systems preferred.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) proficiency.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ and enterprise RESTful API design.
• Strong Agile, CI/CD, Git, and automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, Jest).

Responsibilities

• Backend development (70%): design and implement high-performance REST APIs using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Frontend development (30%): build responsive UI dashboards with ReactJS and Redux to show real-time metrics.
• Architect microservices for telecom integration and high availability across OSS/BSS, billing, and CRM.
• Optimise databases and implement event-driven data pipelines using Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• DevOps & Cloud: deploy via Docker/Kubernetes on AWS/GCP; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and tests; mentor junior engineers in Agile/Scrum.
